Gale Weathers-Jolliff, is the First Lady of New Hope Church of God, where she has served faithfully providing leadership, love, and loyal support for 10 years. Having a passion to see women living at their fullest God-given potential, she organized a women’s Bible study and helped to develop the children’s church and nursery. She is currently working on a premier young girl and ladies mentoring program.
She began her training as a deaconess under Pastor Clarence Hill at Erlangen National Baptist Church in Nurnberg, Germany in 1990. She was ordained as a deaconess by the late Pastor Nathaniel Lee at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Manheim, Germany in November 1993. She has served as a mentor and counselor for all ages throughout her years of ministry beside her husband Pastor Terrence L. Jolliff. She served as First Lady in Giebelstadt, Germany, at the Gospel Service on the military installation in Giebelstadt. She has led many women’s Bible study groups and worked on countless church projects and auxiliaries.
She is the graduate of Amanda Elzy High School in Greenwood, MS and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She is employed at the Department of Defense as an Accountant for the 1st Armored Division G8 on Fort Bliss.
She has been married to Terrence L. Jolliff for 34 years and they have two children, Timothy L. Jolliff, who resides in Seattle WA., and Ashley Jolliff-Holt (McKinley), who resides in El Paso, TX. She also have four grandchildren: Nahtasha, Destinee, McKinley Jr and Elisha.
